What this website collects

This website is purely informational. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools, embeds no third-party content and loads no fonts from external servers. There is no contact form.

Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.

When you visit the pages, the web server automatically stores the following data in log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of the request
• page or file requested and amount of data transferred
• referrer URL
• browser type and version, operating system

This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.

Contact by email

If you email us, we process your details to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract or its preparation is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our mailbox is also operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, in Germany. We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

The Hotelcashbook application

This policy covers the website. For the application at app.hotelcashbook.com we process data on behalf of our customers. The details are governed by the data processing agreement with each hotel.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact us at the address above.
